Jamie has extensive experience in public policy development from his role as an adviser in government and an economist with a ‘big-4’ consulting firm.

Jamie has recently joined the Agenda Group from Deloitte where he was an Associate Director in the economics practice and specialised in providing regulatory, policy and strategic advice to clients. This included assisting with writing submissions to government on regulatory proposals, writing business cases and producing economic impact assessments on projects/investments.

In addition to his current role at the Agenda Group, he continues to be a part-time consultant to Deloitte Access Economics.

Between 2004 – 2009, he was the Principal Economics Advisor to the Victorian Premier and previously a Senior Commercial Adviser to the Treasurer.

In these roles he has advised government and other clients on issues relating to taxation, budget processes, infrastructure, aviation, energy and resources, gaming and state owned enterprises monitoring.

He also has a strong network and understanding of the federal government having worked for senior MPs in Canberra for almost a decade.

Jamie appreciates the importance of presenting good public policy reasons – not just political – to achieve good outcomes for clients. He has degrees in Economics and Laws from the Australian National University and recently qualified for a Masters in Applied Finance.
