Alison Crosweller

Alison started her journalism career at arguably Australia’s most influential newspaper the Daily Telegraph, before becoming a senior reporter on the national broadsheet, The Australian.
At The Australian, she was assigned the Victorian State Political reporter role. She was required to break political stories, write regular opinion pieces and feature articles on Victorian politics and cover the 2002 Victorian election and the 2001 Federal election.
After leaving journalism, Alison went on to play a leading strategic role in the toughest and most influential political offices in Australia.
Working with a Federal Opposition Leader, Alison managed the intense daily media scrutiny of the Canberra press gallery and the national media more broadly.
Returning to Melbourne she went on to provide tactical media support and political advice to a Victorian Treasurer and two State Premiers. She devised media strategy and led a team of media advisers.
Alison offers clients tactical media, crisis management and writing skills, combined with political nous and contacts at State and Federal levels.
